“Remodeling” Your Apartment and Life

Have you ever felt like things were just the “same ol’ same ol’”? You feel like you wear the same stuff, eat the same stuff, and see the same things all the time.

Hey you!

It’s a new year, so why not change things up a bit. How about you start with your apartment?

Reorganize.

Move the furniture a little. Put your bookshelf items in a different order, and create some Zen.

Add something new to the mix. Replace a staple item that you see every day, and you will be amazed how different things feel.

Use a cover up. Visit a fabric store, and find something that fits your ideal décor. Use fabric to cover part of a wall, a piece of furniture or a table.

Hide things. Use decorative bins and baskets to get your clutter out of eye sight.

Try New.

Take a different route. Whether this is in your apartment or on your way to class, finding a new way to get to the next thing on your list will make it feel less monotonous.

Try a new brand or different flavor. Maybe this means upgrading to the two ply toilet paper or using a new air freshener scent. Both of those things might seem silly, but they could be just what the doctor ordered to make your world feel completely new.
